Presidential Decree No. 81/18 of 19 March
This Presidential Decree extinguishes the entities responsible for the preparation and evaluation of the Private Investment projects for each Ministerial Departmental Sectorial holder – called Technical Support Units to the Private Investment (UTAIP) – and the Executive Power holder – Technical Unit for Private Investment (UTIP) are extinguished.
The Agency for the Promotion of Investment and Exports of Angola (APIEX), which aimed to promote investment and exports, was also extinguished.
In addition, the Private Investment and Export Promotion Agency (AIPEX) was created to manage the private investment process, the promotion of investment, exports and international business.
All assets, liabilities and personnel of APIEX and UTIP as well as all ongoing processes, are transferred to AIPEX.
